Upaya Stakeholder Dalam Menerapkan Gerakan Literasi Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Balapulang Kulon 02 Kecamatan Balapulang Kabupaten Tegal
This study discusses the efforts made by school stakeholders, principals and teachers in SD Negeri Balapulang Kulon 02 in applying the school literacy movement to students. School Literacy Movement (GLS) contains about the reading activity five teen minutes before the lesson. GLS consists of three stages of the stage of habituation, development stage, and learning phase. The research question of this study is how are the efforts of school stakeholders in applying GLS in SD Negeri Balapulang Kulon 02. The objective of this study is to describe and explain the efforts of school stakeholders in applying the school literacy movement in SD Balapulang Kulon 02. Type of research is qualitative research with technique of data collection used are observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation The results obtained in this research are, 1) the implementation of GLS in SD Negeri Balapulang Kulon 02 take place in 2016 and still in the habituation stage, 2) reading activity 15 minutes applied 2 days for one week is Tuesday and Thursday, 3) school stakeholders has attempted to facilitate students by making classroom reading angels in each classroom and school library, 4) school stakeholders have socialized the GLS to all guardians over a period of time, 5) school stakeholders seek motivational sentences placed in the school environment to encourage students to be active in reading. Suggestions for this study are to school stakeholders to keep improving the GLS not only at the habituation stage and to the next researcher to research not just one school
