Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media teka - teki silang (TTS) bergambar terhadap keterampilan menulis meningkat sebesar 62 % dan 38 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar Matematika dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media keping berwarna sebesar 73 % dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket.
Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan guru memilih media pembelajaran IPA dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik adalah baik.
From the data it could be concluded that the treatment in experimental class was successful and word wall as one of the alternative media effectively improved the students vocabulary mastery on the eight grade the students of SMP Ma'arif NU 4 Bantarkawung in the academic year 2013/2014.
Students were more enthusiastic, comprehension, and also mastery improved became 90,1% in the second cyle where in the first cycle was 87,5%. So, english comic series as the alternative media in improving the students vocabulary mastery was effective.
