The treatment in experimental class was successful. The hypothesis which states that using pictures sequences was effective for teaching writing in narrative text on the eight grade students of SMP N 3 Tonjong in the academic year 2013/2014 was accepted.
There was a significance difference of the students writing ability taught by using contextual teaching and learning model and without contextual teaching and learning model. Thus, the hypothesis was accepted.
