The result of this study show that "the Skimming technique has a significant improve on the students reading comprehension skill". In this study the experimental class (the treatment using skimming technique) has a better skill in comprehend the text than control class.
The findings of the research have a contribution to language education, especially in teaching speaking method. The English teacher can get some different methods in improving the students speaking ability.
Based on the results of the research, the media picture sequences could improve students reading skill in narrative text.
