Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi Experimental Posttest Only Control Group Design.
Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA sebesar 32%, sementara sisanya, 68% dikarenakan faktor lainnya.
