The aim of this research was to find out whether media picture is effective to improve students achievement in teaching vocabulary and make a sentence using simple present tense at seventh grade students of SMP BU NU Paguyangan or not.
The result of this research showed that there was significant difference between the students who were taught by using collaborative writing technique and those who were taught without it.
The way to improve the reading competence of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bumiayu were: (1)English area is one of the methods used at SMP Negeri 3 Bumiayu, (2)Daily activity is a kind of translation activity in which students have to translate all of the activities everyday.
