There is a significant difference in writing skill improvement between students who are taught writing recount text by using sequence pictures and those taught without sequence pictires. So, the use of sequence pictures is effective to teach the students writing skill in recount text.
The treatment in experimental class was successful. The hypothesis which states that using pictures sequences was effective for teaching writing in narrative text on the eight grade students of SMP N 3 Tonjong in the academic year 2013/2014 was accepted.
Pictorial puzzle is effective to improve the students writing skill in descriptive text at the second grade students of MTS Annidhomiyah NU Buniwah in the academic year 2013/2014 was accepted.
