In the unmarked topical theme there are 58 clauses which can be identified as nominal group complex as theme. In the market topical theme there are 4 clauses which can be identified as adverbial as theme and 4 clauses as prepositional as theme.

There was significant effect of jigsaw method to improve the students reading skill in narrative text. It was found that there was score improvement of pre to post-test of experimental class, the mean score pre to post test of experimental group was increased (70.50>51.00).
